Description

You will partner with engineering to bring online state-of-the-art silicon wafer fab R&D lines, developing and refining recipes for high-quality wafers used in solar cell fabrication for Starlink satellites and Starship missions. Responsibilities include equipment commissioning, process development, wafer characterization, and transferring stable processes to production teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years hands-on experience in semiconductor wafer manufacturing or cleanroom operations
• 1+ years experience handling hazardous chemicals safely

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering to bring online silicon wafer fab development lines
• Drive equipment commissioning, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Perform hands-on wafer processing tasks (slicing, cleaning, etc.) to produce low-defect wafers
• Execute DOEs to optimize silicon recycling and minimize contamination
• Test and evaluate supplier materials through contamination analysis and performance checks
