Description

As a Fabrication Technician, you will provide ground support equipment (GSE) support for SpaceX's launch operations, including building, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting pumps, tanks, valves, and plumbing for liquid oxygen and fuel systems. You'll work hands-on with high-pressure and cryogenic systems, fabricate hardware, and collaborate with engineers to ensure reliable equipment for critical launch milestones.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years professional hands-on experience with pressurized, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems
• Ability to pass Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral
• Ability to work Monday–Friday 6:00am–4:30pm, plus nights/weekends as needed
• Ability to lift 25 lbs., work at heights up to 100 feet, and in extreme outdoor environments

Responsibilities

• Build, install, maintain, and troubleshoot ground support equipment (pumps, tanks, valves, plumbing) for LOX and fuel pads
• Operate and maintain high-pressure systems, pumps, and pneumatic components
• Fabricate and repair GSE, hardware, and equipment
• Collaborate with design engineers to develop and document GSE activities
• Ensure materials are clean and inspected per Clean for Oxygen Service Standards
