Description

You will ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, TCEQ, RCRA, EPA, and DOT requirements, working alongside engineers and technicians to support manufacturing goals while maintaining safety and environmental objectives at SpaceX's Starbase facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 2+ years experience implementing EHS programs
• Experience managing hazardous waste storage and satellite accumulation areas
• Experience with emergency response involving hazardous material releases
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted

Responsibilities

• Perform boots-on-the-ground safety oversight, identifying and correcting workplace hazards
• Monitor employee exposure to job and chemical hazards per OSHA limits
• Assist in implementation of site-specific safety policies and job hazard analyses
• Perform hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal per RCRA requirements
• Conduct environmental compliance audits and spill response/prevention
