💼 About This Role

You'll provide one-on-one support to a student with special needs at Gardner International Magnet School, ensuring their safety and success. You'll build relationships with students, support teachers during lessons, and interact with families as a crucial part of the student's support structure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special needs
• Prioritize tasks assigned by teachers and school leaders
• Ensure safety of students on caseload
• Build relationships with students and parents for a safe learning environment

📋 Requirements

• Associate's Degree
• 60 completed college credits
• Proof of passing the ETS Paraprofessional Exam

✨ Nice to Have

• Previous experience working with students in small group and RTI settings
• Understanding of how to read and understand a student's IEP
• Desire to become a certified teacher long term
