Description

You will define the technical strategy and architecture for SoFi's AI-driven financial guidance agent, leading cross-functional implementation to serve 10M+ members. Your work directly impacts helping members achieve financial wellness through personalized, trustworthy guidance at scale.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years building AI Agents or platforms for millions of users.
• Strong experience in building production AI Agents, including orchestration, evals, retrieval/grounding, and guardrails.
• Strong expertise in system architecture, platform design, and cross-org technical strategy.
• Proven ability to lead ambiguous, high-impact initiatives across multiple teams.
• Highly hands-on technical leader willing to design, prototype, and ship critical features in production.

Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy and architecture for AI Agent for Member, leading cross-team system design and execution.
• Define evaluation strategy and implement systems to measure, monitor, and improve AI agent quality and reliability.
• Drive quality, reliability, observability, safety, and compliance of the AI Agent in a regulated environment.
• Partner with product, data science, design, and business leaders to translate product vision into scalable systems.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leads, elevating engineering excellence across the org.
