Description

You will work on member-facing features like credit card cash back, investment match, and SoFi Plus, a new subscription. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions and own the full project lifecycle from ideation to deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of software engineering experience with scalable production-grade applications
• Full-stack experience: frontend (React, TypeScript) or infrastructure (Kafka, CI/CD, observability)
• Strong backend expertise in Java, Kotlin, or Scala with frameworks like Spring Boot
• Experience with microservices in cloud-native environment (Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, AWS)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, and Data Science teams
• Mentor and inspire engineers through code reviews and technical leadership
• Solve complex challenges across infrastructure, data pipelines, and backend services
• Drive innovation by identifying new technologies and process improvements
• Own full project lifecycle from ideation to deployment and continuous improvement
