Description

You will manage integration build flow and test operations for optical assemblies used in Starlink satellites, working with engineers and technicians to optimize manufacturing and resolve non-conformances.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other engineering discipline
• 5+ years of professional mechanical design or hands-on manufacturing experience
• Some travel up to 10% required
• Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Manage integration build flow and test operations
• Evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration
• Interface with engineers and technicians to optimize manufacturing and automation
• Develop and refine manufacturing assembly procedures based on lessons learned
• Evaluate non-conformances to determine root cause and create system improvements
