Description

You will design and implement embedded software for instrumentation and control systems in nuclear power plants. Working with a collaborative team, you'll develop creative solutions, perform integration testing, and mentor junior staff. This role requires technical problem-solving and effective communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering
• 10+ years of software engineering development experience
• Expert knowledge of C programming language and development tools (GitLab, Jira, LDRA, Arm Development Studio, Visual Studio, GDB)
• 7+ years advanced C programming knowledge
• Must be a US Citizen and willing to travel 25% onsite in Wilmington, NC

Responsibilities

• Develop design specifications and software for embedded systems
• Perform module testing and integration testing
• Conduct code reviews and verify design specifications
• Engage customers to define scope and discuss technical risks
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff
