Description

You will develop weld schedules, perform tube bending and fitting, and operate orbital tube welding equipment for the Neutron rocket and Archimedes engines. This role involves reading blueprints and maintaining high-quality welds in a fast-paced aerospace setting.

Requirements

• Welding experience in aviation, aerospace, nuclear, or similar industry
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Develop weld schedules for orbital tube welding from 1/4" to 6" tubing
• Perform tube bending, flaring, fit up, and preparation per specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Operate and maintain orbital tube welding equipment (e.g., Orbitalum or AMI)
