Description

As a Lead Data Engineer, you'll design and lead the development of scalable data platforms using Snowflake, implementing Medallion Architecture to support enterprise analytics and machine learning. You'll build reliable data pipelines, optimize performance, and define engineering standards while mentoring a team.

Requirements

• 8-12 years experience in data engineering or data platform development
• 3+ years leading data engineering teams or large-scale data initiatives
• Strong expertise in Snowflake, advanced SQL, and ELT pipeline development
• Experience with Python, data orchestration tools (Airflow, etc.), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience implementing Medallion Architecture, CI/CD for data pipelines, and Git-based version control

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data platforms using Snowflake with Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
• Develop and optimize ELT pipelines within Snowflake for batch and near real-time processing
• Define enterprise data engineering standards and drive cost governance in Snowflake
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, conduct architecture and code reviews
• Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions and support analytics initiatives
