Description

As a Senior Avionics Test Engineer at Relativity Space, you will design and implement test frameworks and infrastructure for qualification and acceptance testing of avionics components for the Terran R launch vehicle. You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers to derive test requirements, create test plans, and commission test equipment, playing a key role in shaping the avionics architecture.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• Experience with avionics testing and test infrastructure development
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Responsibilities

• Develop frameworks and infrastructure for qualification and acceptance testing of Avionics components
• Design test equipment including simulation circuits, auxiliary test equipment, test harnesses, mechanical fixtures, and system validation tools
• Work with hardware design engineers and software engineers to derive test requirements and methodologies
• Create and maintain test plans and procedures for avionics systems
• Integrate, commission, and operate test rack hardware and software for component- and system-level functional testing
