Description

You will gain hands-on organic chemistry laboratory experience in a biotech setting, synthesizing and characterizing small molecules to support drug discovery programs. You'll work alongside the Medicinal Chemistry team, contributing directly to ongoing research.

• Studying synthetic organic chemistry or closely related field
• Highly motivated and eager to learn
• Love of challenging, important work

Responsibilities

• Synthesize, purify, and characterize small molecules for drug discovery programs
• Conduct laboratory experiments in consultation with Chemistry team members
• Use databases such as Reaxys or SciFinder to design and plan experiments
• Acquire and interpret analytical data (HPLC, LCMS, NMR)
• Keep excellent records and present experimental findings in group meetings
