💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the firm's nominated Money Laundering Reporting Officer under UK regulations, overseeing the AML/CTF compliance framework for a leading global crypto exchange. You'll ensure regulatory alignment with the FCA, manage SAR investigations, and advise on financial promotions. This role combines hands-on compliance leadership with strategic input on emerging cryptoasset regulation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Serve as nominated officer under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017
• Maintain and oversee the AML/CTF compliance framework and policies
• Receive, assess, and investigate internal Suspicious Activity Reports
• Oversee compliance with UK Financial Promotions Regime for crypto assets

📋 Requirements

• Minimum 6 years' experience as MLRO or Deputy MLRO in regulated financial services
• Deep knowledge of UK AML/CTF regulations including MLR and PoCA 2002
• Demonstrated experience with the UK Financial Promotions Regime for crypto/high-risk investments
• Proven engagement with the FCA on AML supervision or regulatory reporting

• Working knowledge of blockchain technology and digital assets
• Professional qualifications such as ICA Diploma in AML or CAMS
• Experience with cryptoasset-specific FCA rules under CP25/25
