Description

You will lead the Cloud Infrastructure team at CMT, building and evolving foundational platform services that power telematics products. You'll partner with cross-functional leaders to define the technical roadmap, ensure scalability and reliability, and mentor a team of engineers.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of software development experience, 5+ years in leadership/management role (backend preferred)
• Strong understanding of computer science concepts and proficiency in Python, Java, Go, Swift, or Kotlin
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering management, product, data science, and customer teams
• Demonstrated experience building and developing engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Set technical vision and strategy for the engineering platform
• Hire, mentor, and manage a team; conduct performance reviews and career development
• Oversee technology stack and guide architectural decisions for scalability, performance, and security
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable products through code quality standards and incident response
• Partner with SRE and product engineering managers to define requirements and prioritize features
