You'll lead the creation and growth of a U.S.-based battery cell manufacturing business, establishing strategy and commercial relationships. This role drives **technology portfolio strategy** and **commercial engagement** with defense and aerospace customers. You will build the business from the ground up in a high-stakes, entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements

• **Executive leadership** in the battery industry including cell development or manufacturing.
• **Track record of building or scaling** a battery-related business with strategic planning and capital deployment.
• **Commercial leadership** with customer engagement and technology partnerships.
• **Deep understanding of battery cell technologies** and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategy, organizational design, and capital deployment plans.
• Lead technology portfolio strategy and evaluate emerging cell technologies.
• Drive commercial strategy and customer engagement with defense primes and OEMs.
• Secure government funding (grants, OTAs) and develop domestic supply chains.
