💼 About This Role

You'll serve as a senior advisor to Prosper's product and business teams, leading the borrower-side legal team. You'll provide legal counsel on consumer platforms and work closely with product and technology teams. This role offers the chance to influence regulatory strategy and drive impactful projects at a leading fintech company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Advise business on legal issues for consumer platforms
• Lead borrower-side legal team and advise senior leaders
• Advise product and technology team on new products
• Manage litigation related to consumer platforms
• Represent Prosper with state and federal regulators

📋 Requirements

• J.D. with solid academic credentials and active State bar membership
• 12+ years of relevant legal experience
• 3+ years in-house at a fintech, bank, or top law firm

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with financial services regulations (GLBA, FCRA, TILA, etc.)
• In-house experience preferred
