Description

In this role, you will manage and implement fire protection engineering and consulting projects, including building code and fire code consulting, plan reviews, and developing fire protection strategies. You'll collaborate with design teams and authorities having jurisdiction to ensure code compliance and safety.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in fire life safety code consulting, smoke control, fire suppression/alarm systems, or performance-based strategies
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Fire Protection preferred), Architecture, or related field
• Registered Professional Engineer or on track to professional designation preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven project management experience

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement engineering design and consulting projects
• Coordinate and conduct building and fire code reviews, plan reviews, and site visits
• Prepare and peer review project-related technical reports
• Develop fire protection strategies, performance-based designs, and alternative solutions
• Assist with business development activities
