Description

You will develop machining capabilities for SpaceX's Starship components, ensuring high-quality precision parts for production. You'll collaborate with engineering and production teams, optimize manufacturing processes, and drive cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics
• 1+ years of machine shop experience
• Experience with CNC programming (lathes and mills) preferred
• Proficiency in GD&T and inspection procedures
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Develop machining capability and deliver high-precision parts
• Analyze parts for Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
• Maintain feedback loop with downstream operations for rapid iterations
• Review quality concerns and sign off on out-of-tolerance conditions
• Identify, procure, and maintain machine shop equipment
