Description

You will design and develop tools and factory automation equipment for rocket manufacturing, working closely with design and manufacturing teams to deliver functional hardware that enables production of Terran R and Aeon engines.

Requirements

• Expertise in mechanical design and analysis principles
• Ability to interpret and apply ASME Y14.5 drafting standards
• Experience with tooling and automation equipment design
• Familiarity with material handling, fixtures, and test equipment
• Strong collaboration skills across engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Develop high quality production tooling and automation solutions for Terran vehicle and Aeon engine programs
• Integrate mechanical design and analysis across multiple projects in fast-paced environment
• Create tooling drawing definitions using ASME Y14.5 standards
• Collaborate with component designers, manufacturing engineers, and integration engineers
• Handle technical problems related to material handling, assembly fixtures, test fixtures, and custom machines
