US Army Account Executive

Description

You will manage Planet's relationship with the US Army, identify and close new sales opportunities for geospatial intelligence products, and drive revenue growth. You'll coordinate with cross-functional teams, develop a sales pipeline, and present to executive buyers.

Requirements

  • 6+ years relevant technical area experience (equivalent to O-3/GS-12 or above)
  • 5+ years Software/Data as a Service sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Ability to obtain US security clearance
  • Experience selling to Federal customers

Responsibilities

  • Manage Planet's relationship with the US Army
  • Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities to expand customer base
  • Develop extensive pipeline of new sales leads
  • Provide product and sales demonstrations to prospective customers
  • Maintain weekly pipeline reporting and forecast quarterly/annual business
