💼 About This Role

You'll join the Query Integration team to build user-facing features on top of MongoDB's core query engine, integrating with products like Atlas Search and Vector Search. You'll contribute high-quality C++ code and improve query performance, robustness, and diagnostics. This role offers the chance to work on a leading developer data platform with a global impact.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Understand and improve current functionality of the MongoDB query engine
• Contribute high quality C++ code and give feedback in code reviews
• Design, implement, test, and support new query features
• Work constructively with peers to deliver technical solutions

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in computer programming
• Hands-on experience building industrial-strength software
• Solid computer science fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
• Experience with large code bases, preferably in C++

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in databases or data management systems
• Interest in query engine theory and practice
• M.Sc./Ph.D or hands-on experience in the domain
