Description

You will join the Consumer Core Tribe's Plans squad, re-architecting the Customer Plans Domain that powers millions of subscriptions. You'll lead migration from monolithic to microservices, design event-driven systems, and shape scalable backend services using modern tech stack.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience with microservices and event-driven architectures
• Hands-on experience with event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka) and real-time event processing
• Proven ability to design orchestration layers for complex customer flows
• Proficiency in Golang (JVM/Kotlin and PHP a plus) with PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
• Experience working with AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) as thought partners

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services with distributed architecture and microservices
• Lead migration of critical services from monolithic to microservices framework
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance
• Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations
• Contribute to architectural discussions and shape solution design
