Description

You will lead teams building the ads auction and marketplace to optimize yield and gross profit through real-time multi-objective optimization, control systems, and experimentation. You'll define the roadmap with Product and Science teams and mentor engineers across locations.

Requirements

• 3+ years leading teams applying auction theory, quantitative optimization, or advanced statistical methods
• 5+ years leading engineering teams from design to implementation with scalability and reliability
• Deep mathematical understanding of auction theory, game theory, economics, and statistics
• Hands-on experience with Python and Java in production
• BS or higher in CS, Economics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field

Responsibilities

• Build teams and mentor engineers across geographic locations and time zones
• Define strategy and long-term roadmap partnering with Product, Science and Engineering teams
• Lead design, implementation, and evolution of real-time ads auction and marketplace systems
• Drive yield and gross profit optimization through auction design, floor strategies, and pricing experiments
• Lead experimentation using A/B testing, auction simulations, and offline replay frameworks
