You'll join Waymo to build and run large-scale autonomous systems as a Software Reliability Engineer. Your core impact is ensuring fault-tolerant, reliable infrastructure for fully autonomous ride-hailing. You'll optimize systems through automation and proactive design.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Collaborate on building reliable systems for ride-hailing and real-time car-infrastructure communication.
• Manage end-to-end availability and performance through automated solutions.
• Design and implement software to improve system architecture and prevent outages.
• Participate in oncall incident response and blameless retrospectives.

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years writing clean code in C++, Java, or Python
• Interest in distributed systems and production engineering
• Passion for transportation system technologies and autonomous driving
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

✨ Nice to Have

• Demonstrated ability as an individual contributor on scalable software
• 3+ years of industry experience
• BS in Computer Science or similar
