You'll own end-to-end development of propulsion mechanical hardware for space and missile defense systems, spanning design, CAD, prototyping, assembly, and testing. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and feed real-world lessons back into design standards. This role offers direct access to next-gen space robotics and flight hardware.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and iterate mechanical hardware for propulsion and missile defense systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and interfaces
• Support mechanical design, build, assembly, and integration of prototypes
• Plan and execute mechanical testing and failure investigation

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 1+ years of relevant experience designing electro-mechanical systems
• Proficiency with mechanical CAD
• Hands-on ability with mechanical assembly, integration, and testing

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with solid rocket motor components
• Familiarity with DACS-related hardware
• Experience creating mechanical drawings and maintaining drawing packages
