Description

You will lead a team of technicians in assembling, integrating, and testing spacecraft components and systems. You will ensure quality, safety, and efficiency while training team members and driving process improvements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant aerospace industry experience
• Expertise in production and integration of advanced space systems and satellite componentry (Fluid Systems, Propulsion Systems, Reaction Wheels, Star Trackers, etc.)
• Proficiency in advanced tools, technical documentation, and industry-standard environments (ESD safe zones, clean rooms)
• Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620C and/or AC 43.13 standards
• Strong understanding of ISO9000 or AS9100 requirements

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily tasks and department updates to the team
• Lead quality culture with policy adherence and root cause investigation
• Train team members in technical skills and manufacturing processes
• Lead 5S, equipment care, and calibration activities
• Pursue efficiency improvements and ensure safe work practices
