Description

You will lead estimating efforts for at-risk design/build and construction projects, from reviewing proposal drawings to developing competitive cost estimates and bid packages. You'll collaborate with project managers and subcontractors, perform constructability reviews, and support A/E design estimating using advanced techniques.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in architecture/engineering or construction management preferred
• Minimum 15 years of experience
• Proficiency with MS Office products
• Experience with on-screen take-offs or estimating software like Plan Swift is a plus
• Experience with BIM 360 or commercial estimating software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review proposal drawings to determine scope and estimate contents
• Prepare discipline estimates by performing complete takeoffs by CSI Division
• Maintain files of working documents and current supplier pricing
• Review design options and recommend best solutions based on cost, quality, or availability
• Perform constructability reviews and plan/specification coordination
