Description

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Marketplace team at Lyft, you will lead work streams to improve business operations, design AI-driven data analytics platforms, data pipelines, and metric governance systems that business leaders use daily for strategic decisions. You'll partner with business leaders and data scientists to enable more efficient business operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering experience with a high-level language (Python or Go preferred)
• Experience with AI in Agentic workflows, Model Evaluation, Causal models, Anomaly detection
• Strong communication and ability to advocate for proposals
• Experience defining API schemas and developing backend services in microservices
• Proven track record of helping teammates be more productive

Responsibilities

• Define roadmap and architecture based on technology and business needs
• Drive AI innovation for business analytics and operations
• Write well-crafted, tested, readable, maintainable code
• Lead projects from idea to execution
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge via tech talks
