💼 About This Role

You'll lead the design and building of algorithmic stages within scalable cloud applications for Mapbox's HD Maps product family. Your core impact will be deploying GIS algorithms on platforms like AWS and Spark to power high-precision maps. You'll collaborate across R&D teams and engage directly with customers and automotive OEMs globally.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead the initiation and design of algorithmic stages within cloud applications
• Code and develop algorithmic stages using Python, SQL, AWS, and Spark
• Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate analytics solutions
• Engage with customers and automotive OEMs to align product with needs

📋 Requirements

• Proficiency in Python or similar data analysis languages
• Experience deploying GIS algorithms on AWS and Spark
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries like Matplotlib, Plotly, D3.js
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior experience in mapping, navigation, or automotive industry
• Knowledge of machine learning for geospatial data analysis
• Contributions to open-source geospatial projects
