You'll lead engineering for AI initiatives at Sierra Studio, architecting stacks and prompt engineering LLMs to ship products from idea to production. You'll work closely with product managers and designers to create AI-powered solutions and mentor teammates. This role offers the chance to shape a startup's technical culture from the ground up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and implement LLM-powered products for clients
• Prompt engineer and build RAG or agentic workflows
• Develop evaluations for LLM-based applications
• Mentor engineers and contribute to hiring

📋 Requirements

• Experience building products with LLMs
• Proficiency in prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic patterns
• Ability to lead technical direction from idea to production
• Strong written and verbal communication in English

• Experience with finetuning LLMs
• Staying up to date with AI research papers
• Uses AI coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code
