💼 About This Role

You'll develop, scale, and optimize our cloud data platform (AWS, Databricks, dbt, Airflow). You'll be the technical pillar of the Data Team, ensuring robust and documented data. This role supports the global energy revolution at Octopus Energy.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines with Python and Airflow
• Create data models in SQL/Python with dbt using star/snowflake schemas
• Implement data quality tests and documentation for scalability
• Develop custom connectors to ingest data from heterogeneous sources

📋 Requirements

• Solid experience in data engineering with cloud environments (preferably AWS)
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for query optimization
• Practical experience with dbt, Airflow, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Software engineering mindset with Git, CI/CD, and automation

• Knowledge of Spark and Databricks
• Experience with modern data stack tools
