Description

You will fabricate and assemble high-reliability electromechanical assemblies for spacecraft, interpret engineering drawings, perform quality verification, and assist in developing production processes. This role is critical to SpaceX's mission of enabling human life on Mars.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years professional or academic experience using mechanical hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
• Willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends
• US person status per ITAR

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble high-reliability electromechanical assemblies
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, GD&T, and assembly procedures
• Record work in ERP system and perform verification of flight hardware
• Assist with production process development and area efficiency improvements
• Run tests in HASS/HALT and thermal chambers
