💼 About This Role

You'll serve as a technical architect for Navan's mobile ecosystem, solving organization-wide challenges in system architecture and cross-platform strategy. You'll ensure the mobile platform scales to support complex global travel requirements without friction. This role offers the chance to drive the long-term Android vision and collaborate across functions with Product and Sales teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Drive long-term technical vision for Android platform
• Design scalable frameworks and modularization strategies
• Mentor mobile engineers across multiple teams
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and Gradle build performance

📋 Requirements

• 8-10 years of software engineering experience with mobile systems
• Proven experience as a technical architect for large-scale Android apps
• Expertise in bytecode manipulation, custom Gradle plugins, and threading
• Deep knowledge of Kotlin, Compose, and Coroutines

• Experience with global localization and accessibility
• Familiarity with AI development tools like Cursor or Copilot
• Experience with high-volume enterprise applications
