Description

You will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC systems critical to rocket production at Rocket Lab's Space Structures Complex. Your work ensures equipment uptime and reliability, directly impacting the build of the Neutron launch vehicle.

Requirements

• 8+ years of HVAC maintenance experience
• Experience with building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
• Ability to assist with plumbing maintenance and installations
• Knowledge of safety standards and budget guidelines
• Willingness to travel and work weekends or after-hours as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and upgrades to ensure equipment uptime and reliability
• Execute preventative maintenance on package units, split units, exhaust fans, and filter changes
• Oversee general building equipment maintenance and facility operations including renovation projects
• Manage facilities and equipment breakdown ticketing system (JIRA) and prioritize resolutions
• Handle hazardous waste streams in compliance with regulations and respond to emergency calls
