💼 About This Role

You'll lead a greenfield GenAI engineering team to build conversational and agentic AI capabilities on Anaplan's platform. Your team will enable users to interact with models through natural language and autonomously execute planning workflows. This role offers the chance to shape engineering culture during a transformative phase.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 7-10 GenAI engineers
• Drive end-to-end execution of conversational AI features
• Oversee development of agentic AI systems
• Establish engineering best practices for GenAI development
• Manage sprint planning, technical design reviews, and retrospectives

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years leading teams
• Strong hands-on experience building and deploying GenAI applications in production
• Deep knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and conversational AI patterns
• Proficiency in Python and modern software development practices

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with RAG systems and vector databases
• Knowledge of financial planning or business intelligence domains
• Familiarity with model fine-tuning and evaluation
