💼 About This Role

You'll lead the strategic design and reliability of GFiber's high-capacity transport and core routing infrastructure. In this role, you will bridge traditional architecture with modern reliability engineering, ensuring the network is fast, resilient, and highly automated. You'll also drive peering and transit optimization to achieve optimal latency and cost-efficiency.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead peering, caching and transit infrastructure design and IP planning.
• Partner with software teams on automation stack for zero-touch operations.
• Define standards for network observability and implement auto-remediation.
• Serve as Tier-3 escalation for complex routing and DDoS issues.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years in service provider network design and operations.
• Expertise in IP/MPLS protocols: BGP, IS-IS/OSPF, Segment Routing, EVPN.
• Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Go, Ansible, Netconf/YANG).

• Experience with end-to-end automation workflows and event-driven automation.
• Familiarity with SRE principles and SLO/SLA definitions.
• Experience with modern telemetry stacks like Prometheus, Grafana.
