Description

As a Jewellery Expert at Catawiki, you will evaluate and curate auctions for pre-owned and branded jewellery in Japan, ensuring quality, transparency, and commercial success. You'll collaborate with sales and marketing teams to expand seller networks and drive bidder engagement.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of pre-owned and branded jewellery
• Gemmology Diploma from FEEG or GIA recognized school
• 5+ years experience in jewellery trade including manufacturing
• Proven experience appraising pre-owned brand jewellery
• Fluent English and Japanese, strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate submitted lots and provide value estimates
• Curate jewellery auctions balancing quality and market demand
• Maintain transparency and fairness in seller communication
• Partner with Sales to recruit and develop new sellers
• Support dispute resolution with expert judgement
