Description

You will drive policy demand for carbon removal in the EU, working with NGOs and policymakers to integrate carbon removal into compliance markets, tax credits, and subsidies. You'll also secure government demand for Frontier's offtake portfolio and explore new global demand opportunities.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree
• 7-10+ years experience in policy, government, or regulatory affairs
• Track record of generating and implementing ambitious policy initiatives
• Extensive experience engaging with government officials and policymakers
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Grow global market for carbon removal via EU compliance market integration, tax credits, subsidies, and direct procurement
• Partner with EU NGO ecosystem to accelerate carbon removal eligibility and generate new policy ideas
• Secure long-term government demand for Frontier's carbon removal offtake portfolio through location-specific advocacy
• Lead new initiatives to unlock demand in regions like Middle East and Australia
• Work with Stripe's Policy Lead and Frontier's diligence team to vet market opportunities
