You'll independently drive fusion laser experiments at Xcimer Energy, designing and executing tests to improve system performance. Your core impact will be debugging complex experimental issues and developing diagnostics. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge inertial fusion energy with a rapid execution team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Act as primary experimental owner for assigned laser experiments
• Design and execute experiments involving lasers, spectroscopy, and imaging
• Analyze data and identify systematic improvements
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and technicians

📋 Requirements

• PhD in Physics or related field
• Hands-on experience with laser-based experiments
• Proficiency in data analysis and post processing
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with excimer lasers
• Experience with Matlab, Python, or LabVIEW
• Prior experience mentoring junior team members
