Description

You will lead a team of cloud engineers to design and build large-scale, high-availability systems on Google Cloud Platform that connect a global fleet of autonomous robots, manage data ingestion, and support machine learning pipelines for perception, analytics, and operational insights.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience including 3+ in cloud architecture or distributed systems.
• 3+ years of technical leadership or management experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of GCP services (GKE, Dataflow, BigQuery, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of cloud software engineers, providing technical mentorship and performance management.
• Architect and implement scalable, high-availability systems on GCP to support ML workloads and data ingestion.
• Design and operate ML pipelines processing hundreds of thousands of images daily.
• Optimize GPU resource management for model serving throughput and cost efficiency.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with tools like Pulumi or Terraform.
