Description

You will lead product features from concept to market for a cloud data platform used by healthcare payers, ensuring technical rigor and business value. You will collaborate with engineering and stakeholders to translate vision into detailed requirements, manage the backlog, and guide development through agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of data software engineering or minimum 3 years of software development or data engineering experience.
• Domain expertise in shipping SaaS products.
• Deep expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Skilled in database concepts and tools (preferably Databricks, Snowflake).
• Understanding of data platform R&D processes and agile methodologies.
• Experience with big data, ETL, data pipelines, security/privacy, DevOps, or automation.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication skills for translating business requirements to technical specs.
• Strategic-thinking skills with ability to inspire and lead.
• Proactive get-it-done attitude.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic direction into product features and oversee development within agile framework.
• Support engineers throughout SDLC, providing guidance and assistance.
• Assume end-to-end responsibility for lifecycle of owned product features.
• Act as primary translator between business needs and technical requirements.
• Analyze current product performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Communicate updates and progress reports to company leadership.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and document customer scenarios.
• Estimate impact of features and craft value statements for prioritization.
• Create, prioritize, and manage product backlog.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Act as primary liaison between stakeholders and development team.
• Manage product acceptance testing phases.
• Coordinate release activities and prepare documentation.
• Conduct internal user training for new features.
• Collaborate with client management to support clients in product optimization.
