💼 About This Role

You'll lead national security business development for Vast's space stations, reporting to the Chief Policy Officer. You'll drive customer engagement and capture strategy to secure defense contracts. This role offers the chance to shape the future of in-space national security infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and execute national security market strategy.
• Lead customer engagement and capture execution.
• Coordinate proposal development across teams.
• Manage pipeline forecasting and reporting for defense accounts.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, aerospace, or business.
• 10+ years experience in DoD business development or capture management.
• Deep understanding of DoD procurement structures (IDIQ, OTA, etc.).
• Demonstrated success securing Programs of Record.

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's degree in engineering, science, or national security.
• Experience with U.S. Space Force, SDA, DIU, DARPA, or Air Force.
• Ability to work in classified environments.
