You'll lead development of experimental ML models for geospatial imagery analytics at Spexi, a drone and blockchain-powered aerial imagery platform. Your work will bridge research and production, delivering high-quality code for next-gen geospatial intelligence products. You'll spearhead integration of state-of-the-art foundation models like SAM2 for aerial segmentation.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Design, train, and productionize models for aerial-image classification, object detection, and 2D/3D segmentation.
  • Integrate and optimize foundation models for aerial segmentation via prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and distillation.
  • Engineer change detection models to distinguish real-world changes from noise and seasonal variations.
  • Develop predictive models for trend forecasting using time-series and spatial context.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • M.S. and 5+ years in Computer Science, Computer Vision, or related field.
  • 3+ years of applied ML and computer vision experience transitioning models from research to production.
  • Expertise in predictive AI for imagery including classification, object detection, and segmentation.
  • Production experience operating ML pipelines on AWS, specifically SageMaker.

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Ph.D. and 7+ years blending AI with physical sciences like Photogrammetry.
  • Deep expertise in geospatial workflows including GDAL, PostGIS, and rasterio.
  • Experience with 3D scene understanding using NeRFs, Gaussian Splatting, and point cloud segmentation.
