Description

Join Roku's Trust Engineering team as a Security Researcher Intern to strengthen firmware security through static analysis and fuzzing. You will design and implement CodeQL-based improvements, build QEMU fuzzing harnesses, and own an end-to-end research project.

Requirements

• Passion for security and technology
• Experience with static analysis tools such as CodeQL
• Familiarity with firmware security and fuzzing techniques
• Strong problem-solving and research skills

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CodeQL static analysis improvements for firmware components
• Reduce analysis noise via diff-aware deduplication and dead code handling
• Build coverage-guided QEMU fuzzing harnesses
• Own an end-to-end research-driven engineering project
