💼 About This Role

You'll support the SpaceX Security Operations Center as a frontline responder, identifying and remediating security threats. You'll provide incident response and enhance detection capabilities to protect SpaceX's people and assets. This role requires an onsite presence in Hawthorne, CA. You'll contribute to defending against nation-state actors.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Identify, triage, and remediate security detections and anomalies in SOC
• Investigate security incidents from detection through root cause
• Assist in evidence collection and collaborate with engineering teams to improve systems
• Enhance endpoint and network visibility and detection/response playbooks

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, CS, engineering, IT or STEM, OR 2+ years of infosec experience without degree
• Experience with operating system auditing for Linux, Windows, or macOS
• Experience with network and host-based collection tools

✨ Nice to Have

• Understanding of attacker TTPs and incident response processes
• Experience with Elastic, Splunk or other SIEMs
• Experience with scripting languages for automation of security operations
