You will drive Okta's internal data security strategy, oversee the data protection tool suite, and implement a multi-year data security maturity roadmap. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data loss prevention controls and safeguard sensitive information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in information security with focus on data security and privacy
• Strong understanding of data protection principles and technologies
• Experience with network, endpoint, and cloud security solutions
• Experience with security compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, PCI)

Responsibilities

• Business owner of Okta's data protection tool suite
• Design and implement multi-year data security maturity roadmap
• Evaluate and implement security tools and services
• Identify patterns in data loss incidents to enhance preventative measures
• Collaborate with Cyber Defense and TDI teams to realize data security controls
