You'll lead the technical strategy for Data Exfiltration Protection (DXP) and Data Movement Policies (DMP) at Snowflake, building next-gen cloud security infrastructure. Your core impact will be architecting sophisticated, context-aware data movement governance that balances security with developer velocity. This role stands out for its visionary leadership in unifying access policies with perimeter controls.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead design and implementation of Data Movement Policy (DMP) framework.
• Define roadmap for Data Exfiltration Protection (DXP) and enhance egress controls.
• Unify Context-Aware Access policies with egress perimeter controls.
• Author complex design documents ensuring reliability, low latency, and auditability.

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 5+ years in a principal or architect role focusing on infrastructure or security.
• Deep understanding of network security protocols (TLS/SSL, HTTP/S, DNS).
• Proven track record of designing high-scale distributed systems (Java, Go, or C++).

• Experience with Zero Trust architectures.
• Familiarity with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies.
• Effective deployment of AI models and tooling.
