Description
You will provide legal advice on employment law issues, manage litigation, develop HR compliance programs, and support corporate transactions. You'll partner closely with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Requirements
- J.D. degree and active bar membership
- At least six years of experience in employment law and litigation
- Experience managing employment litigation and outside counsel
- Knowledge of ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and other employment laws
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on federal, state, local, and international employment law issues
- Partner with HR to evaluate and evolve employment practices, compliance, policies, and trainings
- Manage employment litigation matters, including responding to demand letters and negotiating resolutions
- Draft and review employment agreements, restrictive covenants, and release agreements
- Support corporate transactions with employment law counsel
