💼 About This Role

You'll own the end-to-end lifecycle of compute and network infrastructure at Neuralink, from data center buildout to day-to-day operations. Your core impact will be building reliable, scalable systems that enable groundbreaking brain-computer interface research. This role offers hands-on work with HPC clusters and high-speed networks in a fast-paced environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build data center environments including power and cooling systems
• Procure, rack, cable, and commission server and network hardware
• Administer and manage HPC clusters, storage systems, and high-speed networks
• Automate server provisioning using PXE/HTTP boot and configuration management tools

📋 Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Arista switches
• Experience building and supporting HPC or high-density compute environments (GPU clusters, high-performance storage)
• Working knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and network technologies
• Experience with firewalls, SDWAN, and enterprise security technologies

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Wave Division Multiplexing and Fiber Optics
• Experience with cluster resource managers (Slurm, LSF, PBS)
• Industry certifications such as CCNA or CCNP
