💼 About This Role

You'll own the flight dynamics of our UAVs, from hands-on prototyping through data-driven tuning and qualification. You'll lead root cause analysis using blackbox/DVR data and work cross-functionally to improve performance at scale. This is a fast-paced role at a rapidly growing startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own flight performance from prototype through production
• Design and execute structured test protocols
• Develop internal documentation on flight dynamics
• Serve as subject matter expert on flight dynamics

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an engineering field
• 2+ years in a multirotor UAV Engineering role
• Proven root cause analysis on quadcopter flight anomalies using blackbox/DVR/telemetry
• Hands-on experience assembling, repairing, or modifying multi-rotor drones

✨ Nice to Have

• Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, Python, or MATLAB
• Familiarity with ESC firmware such as Bluejay, BLHeli_S, or BLHeli_32
• Experience with CAD software such as Solidworks or NX
